YOUTH PROGRAMS

The Children's Programs provides youth with critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills which are proven to increase social, emotional and academic success. Programs are offered to Elementary, Middle and High School-aged youth. 

 
   

 

Bright Ideas Summer Camp

Session 1: June 14, 2011 through July 16, 2011

Session 2: July 19 through August 20, 2010

Monday through Friday 8am-6pm

Daily Fee:$8

Weekly Fee: $40

Session Fee:$175 per session (5 wks.) $300 for both sessions, second child 50% off

     
     

 

Bright Ideas After-School - Grades K - 5

Homework help to improve reading, math, and science skills. Computer classes on Tuesday and Thursday.

Daily Fee: $5
Weekly Fee: $20
Monthly Fee: $50

Fees cover the cost of snacks and materials. Limited scholarships are available for those experiencing hardship; call 727-791-8255 for more information. 2011/2012 session starts September 6, 2011

The Neighborhood Family Center provides comprehension computer classes to those of all ages.  From the young, to the young at heart, our Computer Lab, with its state-of-the-art computer and media equipment, helps you keep up with advances in computer software and technology.

Foto Fun-Digital Photography

Introduction to the basic functions of the digital camera and scanner. Students will have hands-on experience by taking photos, ( digital cameras provided) learning on how to download the photos from the memory card (camera) to a computer. They will learn how edit photos and add effects to their photography.
