SERVICES

The Neighborhood Family Center provides help with planning for needs and finding resources; help with identifying appropriate community programs and support services that will help families maintain healthy and successful.

 

Offered Services/Information and Referral

The purpose of the program is to support the implementation of family goals that identify and implement the success of the family long after formal services are gone. These goals are designed to remain with the family far beyond the time the family receives formal services.

The Family Support Specialist creates:

  • The short-term and long-term goals for treatment and support services for the child and family

  • Clear and measurable steps to reach identified goals

  • Identification of formal and informal resources

 

 The Family Support Specialist can also provide assistance in linking families to needed services such as:

  •  Information/Referrals

  • Holiday Food Assistance

  • Emergency Food

  • Free Clothing Pantry

  • Child Care Referrals

  • Adopt A Family Programs

  • Limited financial assistance is available to families with children 17 years of age or younger

Helping families bridge the gap 0f self-sufficiency.

Food Pantry

 

Operated by the Church & Community Outreach (CCO).   The food pantry

distributes  food to the needy.  The food is donated from numerous resources, including, the surrounding communities, ,Sweet Bay Marketing, Publix and Post Office Food holiday food drives,  cash donations from individuals. These donations feed approximately 80 families per month and provide food for the Holiday Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets.

Monday: 12:30 PM-3:00 PM

Friday:     12:30 PM-3:00 PM

Clothing Closet

Donated new and  gently used clothing, household, toys and miscellaneous items are available for individuals

Wednesday:   1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Friday:               1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
