Smooth music plays as Neighborhood Family Center holds
its a Fundraiser
for the 7th Annual Backpack Distribution

Children, Youth and Adult Class Summer Programs.

It
seemed we timed our Back to School fundraiser just in
time to match the arrival of our real Florida summer
heat. But thanks to the generosity of Kiwanis donated
tents, fans and the fact we could periodically run into
the air conditioning at Thomas/McPherson Salon, all
attending had a fun night.
Martha
Stem and her committee served up more food than we could
eat and the beverage station sponsored by Jimmy Thomas
and Stuart McPherson served up fine wines and soft
drinks to cool the night.

BACKPACK DISTRIBUTION
Now that our Back-to-School Fundraiser
is complete we must now plan the distribution.
Last year Neighborhood Family Center distributed over
700 backpacks filled all the essential supplies students need to start the school
year.
