Who
Are We?
The Safety Harbor Family Center has been helping families since
1994.
We envision safe, healthy, strong and
self-sufficient, families and communities.
We strive to strengthen families and children through
programs that promote and improve physical, mental, and moral
development.
We support neighborhood improvement through direct services and
collaborative arrangements with
our partnerships, local businesses, and community volunteers.
OUR MISSION
The overall mission of the program is to
empower the neighborhood and strengthen families, especially those
with young children. The program has established a number of
collaborative relationships with agencies and programs that have
benefited the area, including a food bank that is housed at the
Neighborhood Family Coalition and managed by local church
volunteers.
The program also provides the required NFC
components including: parenting skills and support groups, family
literacy, a computer lab, outreach, child care for parents during
center activities, community meetings, and linkage to health care
and community services.
Safety Harbor Family Center is incorporated in
the State of Florida as a non-profit corporation. We are a
tax-exempt 501C3 non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue
Service Code. Contributions made to The Safety Harbor Family Center
are tax deductible and confidential.
We are committed to nurturing and strengthening children, youth,
adults, their families and
communities through education, support services and collaborative
partnerships. |
